It remains, for many, a day of affection and remembrance, yet it also carries a deeper resonance in an era that questions traditional gender roles and definitions of family. The word \u201cmother\u201d itself has broadened, encompassing biological, adoptive, and chosen relationships \u2014 anyone who nurtures, guides, or sustains others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Artists and designers of the 21st century have reclaimed motherhood as a site of creativity and complexity.
