About the Position

We are looking for a talented, creative, and customer-oriented Florist to join our growing team in Hong Kong. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with fresh flowers, has a passion for floral design, and takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service.

As a Florist, you will create beautiful floral arrangements for everyday occasions, weddings, corporate events, festive celebrations, sympathy tributes, and bespoke customer orders. You will also help maintain flower quality, manage inventory, support daily shop operations, and ensure every customer enjoys an outstanding shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and create bouquets, flower boxes, floral baskets, vase arrangements, table centrepieces, wreaths, and customised floral displays.
• Prepare floral arrangements for birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, corporate functions, graduations, seasonal celebrations, funerals, and special occasions.
• Provide friendly and professional customer service, recommending suitable flowers and arrangements based on customer preferences and budgets.
• Receive, inspect, process, trim, hydrate, and condition fresh flowers to maintain premium quality and freshness.
• Water and care for indoor plants and other floral products.
• Ensure all floral displays remain attractive, fully stocked, and visually appealing throughout the day.
• Wrap, package, and prepare flowers for walk-in customers, online orders, and delivery services.
• Coordinate with delivery staff to ensure customer orders are completed accurately and on time.
• Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering fresh flowers, plants, gift items, packaging materials, and floral supplies.
• Maintain inventory records and minimise product waste through proper flower care.
• Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system and handle cash, card, and digital payments accurately.
• Keep the shop, workstations, coolers, and preparation areas clean, organised, and compliant with hygiene standards.
• Support seasonal promotions, holiday displays, visual merchandising, and marketing campaigns.
• Assist with general flower shop operations and other duties assigned by management.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Florist, Floral Designer, Flower Shop Assistant, or in the floral retail industry is preferred.
• Floral design certification or professional floristry training is an advantage but not essential.
• Strong creativity with an excellent sense of colour, balance, and floral composition.
• Good knowledge of fresh flowers, foliage, plants, floral products, and flower care techniques.
• Passion for flowers and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong customer service mindset with a positive attitude.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Good organisational and time management skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Physically capable of lifting flower boxes, buckets, and supplies when required.
• Willing to work flexible shifts, including weekends, evenings, and public holidays.
• Basic computer literacy and POS experience are advantageous.
• Fluency in Cantonese is preferred. English and Mandarin communication skills are an advantage.

Working Hours

• Full-time or part-time positions available.
• Five to six working days per week on a rotating roster.
• Shift work, including weekends and public holidays.
• Additional hours may be required during peak seasons such as Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, Chinese New Year, Christmas, and other major holidays.
